Our story · Global Mission

We were born so that language holds no one back

Global Mission is the online language academy for those with something real at stake in an exam: military and Armed Forces personnel, Guardia Civil officers, public-exam candidates, companies and professionals who need the language to take the next step. If a certificate stands between you and your next posting, you are in the right place.

Our base

Where the method takes shape

We are a 100% online academy, but behind every screen there are people: a team that designs your path, records every class and accompanies you to exam day. No generic templates. Here every member of the Armed Forces, every Guardia Civil officer and every professional has a plan built for their exam and their goal.

  • Close, person-to-person support
  • Teachers specialized in each language
  • Doors open to institutions and companies

How Global Mission was born

Global Mission was born from a very simple conviction: no one should lose a posting, a promotion or a mission because of a paper that certifies a language. And yet it happens every year, to well-prepared people, in and out of uniform.

We know that world from the inside. We know what it is to prepare the SLP (STANAG 6001), feel the pressure of the board and stake months of effort on one hour of exam. That is why we built a different academy: designed for those who really sit the exam (Armed Forces military, Guardia Civil and demanding professionals) and built around you, not the other way around.

What began with the SLP soon grew into something bigger. Today we also prepare the Business English companies, ministries and international agencies ask for, plus the major general-English certifications such as Cambridge, Trinity and Aptis. In the end, a good language level opens the same doors in and out of uniform.

A language is not just an exam: it is the key to a professional life without a ceiling.

Who is behind it

I am Paula Castillo, founder of Global Mission. I have spent years preparing people for exams where a lot is at stake: military and Guardia Civil officers chasing their SLP, public-exam candidates and professionals who need to certify their level so as not to be left out.

It all started very simply. I gave private classes and saw brilliant students work twice as hard for lack of a clear method or someone who truly knew the exam they faced. I gathered everything that did work (skill-based practice, mock exams with real criteria and close support) and turned it into a serious online academy, open to anyone who needs language as a tool. That is how Global Mission was born.

Who it is for

We started with the most demanding specialty, NATO’s SLP (STANAG 6001) for Armed Forces military and Guardia Civil officers, because that is where language is measured in detail. But Global Mission goes far beyond the uniform.

  • Armed Forces and Guardia Civil: SLP (STANAG 6001) in six languages, for postings, missions and promotions.
  • Companies and professionals: Business English and tailored training for teams working in international contexts.
  • General English: Cambridge, Trinity, Aptis and DELF/DALF certifications to broaden knowledge and open doors.

Where we are heading

Our ambition is to make Global Mission a European reference in language training for demanding professional environments, with a vocation to grow alongside institutions, companies and individuals across the allied countries. We start with a clear mission: that no one is left short of their goal because of a language.
